Too many focus on results at the youngest of ages instead of player development and creating a fun, enjoyable environment that present worthy challenges where players can succeed. Unfortunately, many coaches perceive their &quot;talents&quot; to be superior when conquering an opponent by a large margin. The reality is that both teams lose - one through lack of interest and the other through frustration. And, with large margins between teams, the way in which teams are formed must be examined as well. Was it truly that a coach developed his team to mastery or the process in forming both teams (rec level) or competitions (comp level) was flawed? I think you&#039;ll find that most times the process of placement was responsible for inconsistent competition.</description>
